The following books are avalible for download, and used in my campaign. Each is designed for the GURPS system, although the Starship Design rules could be used for many game systems. Right-click below and choose "save as" to download the book!
This is a combined set of the rule options I have placed on this page before, so much of it you will have seen before.
BIG NOTE: These rules are no longer being used, but I will leave them here in case anyone who plays GURPS wants to take a look. Our group plays by the GURPS rules as close as possible from this point on to reduce rules confusion and arguments.
This book covers the avalible powers of the Force. It was not written by me, but was heavily modified to suit my tastes. I actually don't remember where I found this .pdf - if you know where it came from, please let me know so I can give proper credit to the original writer.
Written by J. Scott Pittman. I did not want my GURPS: Star Wars game to be overly complex, but at the same time my players wanted to learn the rules that would allow them to modify their vehicles. Before long, I had a simple combat system and fairly simple set of rules for this.

Light Side Points (New!)
Characters can earn Light Side points by taking actions that are very heroic in nature, without cause to think that they would gain reputation or reward for doing so. It is up to the GM to decide who gains a Light Side point and when. In general, they are very hard to aquire, and requires a real heroic effort that also indicates a real change for darker characters, or a real sacrifice or great (almost suicidal) risk for those who are at 4 or lower Dark Side.
For example, a character might go aboard a Star Destroyer with a plan and a few allies. this does not receive a Dark Side point. However, another character might hear about a captured friend at the last second and go into the Destroyer alone. Almost assured of death, he receives a Light Side point. Note that for some characters this is subjective: a rebel soldier faces much more danger in certain situations than a Jedi.
Light Side Points can only be earned if the character has equal to or less than 4 Dark Side points. If they have 5 or more Dark Side, they lose a Dark Side point instead of gaining a Light Side point. If a character earns over 4 Dark Side, they lose any Light Side points equal to the gain over 4. The Light Side points will not negate the gaining of Dark Side points.
For example, a character takes an action that earns them 6 Dark Side, and they have 3 Light Side points. They still gain the 6 Dark Side, but lose 2 of thier Light Side points (for the 2 Dark Side earned over 4).
Although hard to gain and easy to lose, Light Side points are powerful. Unlike Hero Points, they are given back to the character at the beginning of each new gaming session. They can be used to:
1. Subtract 1d6 over a roll, even if the roll has already been lowered by the use of Hero Points. Light Side points cannot be used to alter any roll if the character attacks in the combat round.
2. Give the character Luck: The character can make any roll 3 times and use the best result, as long as Hero Points (or Light Side or Dark Side points) have not been used to alter the roll.
3. Survive a severe situation: If a Light Side point is used, the GM must declare that a roll is possible (no matter how hard) to survive a situation. A character could fall off a building, use a Light Side point, and fall into the water or into a speeder flying by. You lose your light side point if you use it in this matter.
New Dark Side Rules
At the beginning of each game session, a player must subtract a number of Hero Points equal to their Dark Side from their Hero Point score.
New Hero Point Rules
If a character has over 25 Hero Points, they can earn a maximum of 1 at a time as rewards.
