Total Wages from major products:
Llorkth takes in about 1000 gold worth of gems and metals per month from the mines, after counting the costs of mining itself. Of that, about 500 is used for grain storage. This is then sold to Lord Byurnt for 600 gold, who deals out the grain to the farmers to feed livestock and to store.
Wages for the kingdom in taxes:
450 men (the army) do not pay taxes. The other 2,750 people make about 1 gold/month, for a total of 2,750 gold. Of this, they are taxed 10% each month, for a total of 275 gold. the Aristocrats pay more than their fair share in taxes as well (see above). Of course, there are the well-to-do, and trader's taxes, and this brings the final tax total to about 500 gold each month.
