History: Taymon Stormbreaker was born in the great merchant realm of Sembia. There he lived many years as a member of the army, but soon grew tired of having to take orders and not being able to think for himself. He knew he had leadership skills, and decided to form an adventuring company.

  He first formed an adventuring group known as The Company of One. The team had many successful adventures, but they came to a sudden halt. An evil wizard used mind-controling attcks to defeat his entire party, and they were all killed before Taymon's own eyes.

  For the next year, taymon did very little, except for his drinking. Blaming himself for the death of his friends, he became bitter and self-destructive. However, he would soon have to make an important choice that would alter the course of his life.

  From the small town of Llorkth came an urgent message, a plea for help for the man that once led The Company of One. Trolls had been spotted in the area, and the city needed heros to stop their attacks. It was also known that a powerful mage controlled the troll invaders.

  Something in that message caused Taymon's heart to stirr, and after much reflection he decided to form a new adventuring group. However, he did not wish to fall into the same trap as before, so he found a group largely made of elves - who were more resistant to mind-magics.

  The new team of adventurers decided to call themselves The Blade. Soon they would become The Soaring Blade, one of the most successful and well-known adventuering groups in all of Faerun.

  Further down the road of time, the Soaring Blade disbanded, and some of them took over kingdoms of their own. Aratylium Stenis now commands the city of Llorkth, where the Blade's first adventure took place. Taymon acts as his Captain of the Guard, and often laughs about how he is back in the military again...
