Aspects
Shalamar, the Emerald Wonder, is one of the most powerful mages in the north, and has created the Emerald Towers of Silverymoon, a training facility to instruct young would-be mages. It has become the first and formost magical training school in the north.
Select students are offered a chance to join the secret scociety called The Order of the Emerald Mages, a group designed to battle evil magic users that would harm noble places such as Silverymoon. They share a special hatred for the Red Wizards of Thay.
Of course, running a magical college and a secret orginization of mages is no easy task, and takes most of Shalamar's time.
Game Scores (Aspects)
The following list details Shalamar's Aspects, the things he should be most concerned with. An Aspect is something that is important to the survival of the college or Shalamar's personal ego/life, such as money, supplies, and reputation. Aspects go up or down with each decision he makes, usually in a range of 0-4, up or down.
The idea then, of course, is to make decisions that will cause all Aspects to go as high as possible. However, often a decision that causes one Aspect to rise will cause another to fall.
A roll is made against each Aspect each turn on 3d6. If the roll is lower, a special occurance happens. If the Aspect is negaive, then a successful roll indicates a negative special occurance. A positive Aspect will yeild a positive occurance.
Sometimes other special occurances will happen that are not under the control of decisions that Kinias will make, such as weather changes and natural disasters, although not all such occurances are bad.
Shalamar has three main advisors, as listed below, that might give their opinions each turn.

Explanation of Aspects:
Shalamar
Reputation:
Reputation is how people view Shalamar himself as opposed to his school. Shalamar has a +5 in this Aspect due to his college in the mists of Silverymoon.
Emerald Towers of Silverymoon
School Reputation:
This is how the general population views the Emerald Towers
Number of Students: 200
On average, the college will put out about 10% of the school's students as first-third level mages each year, 5% as 4th level mages, 5% as fifth level mages, and 2% as sixth level mages, the maximum level of mastery the college teaches. After obtaining sixth level, the mages are "professional mages" and graduate from the college. They still have access to the information there, but they must pay to use the school's magical resources, equipment, etc. per year as usual. The school needs one teacher per 10 students.
Coffers:
This Aspect has a score that can go up or down often. It indicates how well the college is doing in the area of wealth and capitol.
Teachers: 20, each at 10th level (Shalamar's requirement)
this indicates the number of teachers at the college. The college requires 1 teacher per 10 students.
Required Pay for teachers:
Shalamar currently pays each teacher 1/4 a coffer point per year. He currently enrills 20 teachers, for -5 to the coffers at the end of the year.
Profit earned from enrollment per year:
This indicates how much money is made per year from students enrolling in the college. At the end of each year, the college usually makes +1 Coffers from each 50 students. 200 students, for example, would yeild +4 to the coffers at the end of one year.
Wizards gaining access to school per year:
This indicates wizards of note that use the college resources each year.
Profit earned from school access per year:
This indicates how much gold is being made through payment for use of the school and it's supplies. Each 10 wizards nets Shalamar +1 Coffers per year.
Magical Experiments:
Shalamar may want to make special research that will require time and money. Currently, he has no special experiments active.
Information: 95% common, 50% rare, 20% very rare
As Shalamar collects ancient books and writings from around the Realms, the information avalible to the college students and mages increases.
