He asked for advice, and the cleric told him to follow the Rod wherever it was leading him. He had food and was healed of his burns. Leaving the next day, he discovered that the Rod had been stolen by The Lost and Found, a local thieves guild. Making a pact with thier leader, "King" Kether, he replaced important documents of Magistrate Vesser of Northtown in the town legal hall with fake documents that would insure one of the men of The Lost and Found would be set free. The plan worked, and Kerrick was given back his Rod and found himself an honorary member of The Lost and Found. Kether told kerrick that if he ever needed a safe place to hide, come to Trader's Haven, to a tavern known as The Red Dragon Maw, wearing a red band around his left wrist. The barkeep would then instruct the Lost and Found that they had a guest in the city.</div> <bR> <div>   The next night, a group of kobolds tried to steal the Rod from kerrick, and he had to chase the creatures across the city's alleys and rooftops to get it back. Knowing the Dark Queen was on his trail, he decided it might be better to get out of town.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
